our selection of free mp3 audio recordings of famous children's
stories. These were originally performed before live audiences for the
Lux radio theater in the late 1930's to early 1950's. We have edited
them to remove the sponsors and advertisers messages and improve the
flow of the stories. The actors involved are movie stars of the
time, often those who appeared in the movies that the radio dramas
were usually based
on.
The wizard of
Oz
